INTRODUCING ROBERT DEPPERT: OUR SR. POLITICAL RESOURCE COORDINATOR

CHAMPIONING THE ACTIVIST SPIRIT:

When you are running a campaign that challenges the status quo, you need advisors who have spent their lives organizing and fighting for working people. That is exactly why the Committee to Elect Benjamin Arrington is absolutely thrilled to announce that Robert Deppert has joined our team as the Sr. Political Resource Coordinator.

A Pillar of Local Business and Labor Robert brings a rare blend of entrepreneurial experience and fierce labor advocacy to the campaign. As a small business owner, he has successfully run the Senior Solutions insurance agency for over two decades. But his impact stretches far beyond his own business doors. Robert has been a steadfast champion for workers’ rights in our community, serving as a dedicated leader within South Central Jobs with Justice and the local Labor Council.

Leading the Progressive Charge In Monroe County, progressive values aren’t just talking points—they are the foundation of our community’s activist spirit. Robert has been at the forefront of this movement for years. He served as the Chairman of Democracy for Monroe County (DFMC) for four years, guiding one of the most influential politically active advocacy groups in the region.

An Intimate Knowledge of the Political Landscape Perhaps most notably, Robert served as a 2016 national delegate for Bernie Sanders. In that historic primary, Sanders won a commanding 67% of the vote in Monroe County. Robert deeply understands the progressive energy that drives our voters and exactly what it takes to mobilize them.

We are incredibly fortunate to have an advisor with such an intimate, proven knowledge of the local political landscape. With his decades of experience organizing locally and nationally, Robert’s strategic guidance will be invaluable as we build a coalition that truly represents the people of Monroe County.
